" I am writing concerning a dog I got four years ago from you. Buckwheat is out of LeSueur River Jill and Mahoney's Another Dick. He performs excellent and has been a dream to train and hunt. Buckwheat retrieves, back,which he has had very few chances to do so, due to his drive and hunting ability to cover ground. Buckwheat is solid on point and works well with my other dogs. He works great on quail, pheasant and grouse. In

She not only is a great family pet, but she also is very adept at chasing pheasants. She has been to S. Dakota once and out in Minnesota numerous times. She retrieves very well considering the birds are as big as she is. She tracks downed pheasants as well as live birds and is improving on holding her points every time out. “Just sending a quick note, I had Bob out in the field today for the first time. Let me tell you that was fun even though I couldn't shoot anything yet. We were out for about 35 minutes and Bob had several really good, solid points on roosters. He would lock up and hold point all the way until I flushed the bird. I didn't even need a check cord. The best part is I haven’t even started to whoa break him yet. I had to carry him out of the field because he wouldn't stop hunting and I didn't have a lead with me.”
